Bathroom Remodeling and Renovation in St. Louis, MO
Everyone in the house uses the bathroom, and guests see it too. It has to be private, comfortable, and easy to use, and it has to do all of that in a small space. That is why bathrooms take careful planning. Sansara 24/7 Restoration & Remodeling is a locally and family-owned company based in Wildwood, and we remodel bathrooms in Wildwood, Ladue, Chesterfield, and across the St. Louis area.
Some homeowners want a fresh look. Others want a shower that is easier to use for the long term, or a bathroom that will appeal to buyers before a sale. Whatever your reason, we review your plans, look at the space, and lay out a remodel that fits your goals. A bathroom packs plumbing, electrical, tile, and carpentry into a few square feet, so we plan the work in order and coordinate each trade.
The first step is a consultation. Contact us, and we will look at your space, review your needs and ideas, and talk through your options and the estimated cost, so the plan is clear before anything starts.
Bathroom Remodel or Bathroom Renovation?
The two words are often used as if they mean the same thing, but they describe different projects. A remodel changes the form of the room, such as replacing a tub with a walk-in shower, moving a vanity, or adding a new shower with a waterfall head. A renovation restores and updates what is already there, such as new tile, a new floor, or replacing worn fixtures.
Many projects include both. At your first consultation, we look at the room and help you decide how far to go. Sometimes a renovation is all you need. Sometimes the layout is the real problem, and changing it makes more sense than dressing it up.

What We Can Plan and Build in Your Bathroom
Your space and your budget set the limits. Within them, we plan and coordinate:
Tubs and showers, including walk-in and steam shower options
Vanities, countertops, and cabinets
Toilets and fixtures
Flooring and tile, including heated floors
Wall tile, paint, and wallcoverings
Lighting and mirrors
Features such as steam showers and heated floors are worth raising early, because they change the wiring, plumbing, and framing behind the walls. If you plan to stay in your home long term, we can also plan accessibility upgrades, such as a walk-in shower with a seat or reinforced walls where grab bars can be added later. For paint and wallcovering choices, our painting team can finish the room.
Choosing Materials for a Room That Gets Wet
Bathrooms deal with water, steam, and humidity every day, so material choices matter more here than in most rooms. During planning, we talk through:
Floor tile with enough grip for wet feet
Shower and tub surrounds that are built to handle daily water
Fixtures and hardware that hold up to moisture
Ventilation that moves humid air out of the room
Paint and finishes made for damp spaces
Ventilation deserves special attention. A fan that moves moist air out after a shower reduces the humidity that lingers in the room, and lingering humidity is one reason bathrooms develop mildew and mold over time. It is much easier to add or upgrade a fan while the ceiling is open, so we raise it early.
How Our Bathroom Remodeling Process Works
Every bathroom project moves through the same three stages.
Design and Planning
You set your budget and share your vision, and we review cabinets, countertops, tile, colors, mirrors, light fixtures, and shower fixtures with you. We settle the layout and confirm what the project needs, including permits where they apply, before work begins. We also talk through the order of the work, so you know when the bathroom will be out of use and what to expect along the way.
Demolition
How much comes out depends on the project. It may be a tub and a vanity, or the whole room down to the framing. Most bathroom projects are done while you live in the house, and we protect the rest of the home from dust and foot traffic as we work. It helps to have another bathroom available. In the uncommon case where the scope makes it hard to stay, we tell you up front.
Construction and Final Walkthrough
Our renovation team builds the new bathroom in sequence and coordinates the trades: rough plumbing and electrical, tile, fixtures, and finishes. When the work is done, we go through the finished bathroom with you and take care of anything that needs attention before we call the project complete.
Water Damage, Leaks, and Mold in Bathroom Projects
Bathrooms are wet rooms, and many remodels start because something went wrong: a soft spot in the floor, a stain on the ceiling below, tile that has loosened, or a musty smell that will not go away. Before we build anything new, we check what is behind the old finishes. If there is water damage, we deal with it first. We handle bathtub overflow cleanup and toilet overflow cleanup, dry the affected floors and walls, and document what we find as part of our water damage restoration work. If we find mold, our bathroom mold removal comes before the new work goes in.
A leaking supply line, drain, or fixture may need a plumber to repair the source. We take care of the water damage the leak left behind, then rebuild the room. Because the same team does the cleanup and the remodel, your bathroom is dried, cleaned, and rebuilt without a hand-off between companies.
Budget, Financing, and Your Free Estimate
We start by asking what you want to spend, so we can plan around it, and we explain the choices that affect the scope. Estimates are free. Financing options are available for remodeling projects. Tell us what you have in mind and request a free estimate.
